Forever Living Products New Distributor Action Checklist
Why do we have a checklist? Because real success is achieved when we all use duplicatable methods to build our business. If you want to build a solid team that gets things done, it's important that we all do basic, proven things rather than wasting time and money “reinventing the wheel”. Many smart people have failed because they decided to use complicated or expensive marketing methods that their downline members couldn't, or wouldn't, also use. Keep things simple and then duplicate your success! This checklist will help you do that. Follow the checklist and make sure your new team members do so as well. Keep the checklist going throughout your entire organization. If you decide later on to add things that aren't listed here, that's okay, as long as these basics have been done. But keep in mind that optional methods you add later on may not be doable by others in your team. Let's get started!
Sign up as a distributor.
Print out your distributor ID number for future reference.
Get in touch with your sponsor. Making that connection shows you're serious about your future.
Create your “why”. Why are you joining FLP? What are your dreams & goals? Write them down!
Set up your back office log in at www.foreverliving.com (save your password!)
Log in to your back office and explore the site. Learn where everything is.
Print a direct deposit form or Forever Bonus Access Card application.
Complete and submit either the direct deposit form or the Access card application.

Click on “my account” and update your information. You can print an id card here, too.
Go to the “downloads” page and print anything that you think you might could use.
Place your first product and literature order. Be sure to order catalogs with prices.
Subscribe to and set up your “My FLP Biz” website. You may want to get your own custom domain name that redirects to your My FLP Biz website. (for example: www.aloebusiness.info ) A custom domain can be easier for your customers to remember. GoDaddy.com typically has the best prices for domains.
Order official FLP business cards from the main page of your back office. Be sure to put your My FLP Biz website address (or custom domain) on your cards!)
Spend some serious quiet time customizing your My FLP Biz website. Make it yours!
Within your My FLP Biz system, begin setting up your address book, name list, calendar, and dream book. Explore all the tabs so that you're familiar with all the system functions.
Set up your email signature line so that it promotes your My FLP Biz website.

Complete all available training modules and videos at: www.discoverforever.com Place special emphasis on learning and understanding the basics of the FLP marketing (compensation) plan.
Now it's time to get your home office organized so that you're ready to do business. Have all your FLP literature and forms handy, along with your phone, a bulletin board with goals posted, and a briefcase or messenger bag pre-loaded with literature, catalogs, dvd's, cards, and samples. Setup a web browser bookmark folder with all your important FLP website links. If you have a laptop, netbook, or tablet computer, load them with FLP forms, literature, and videos so you'll be ready to take care of business no matter where you are.
Get a package of mailing labels so that you can print your name, website address, and other contact information (phone and/or email) on them. Put a label on the back of every catalog, dvd, or other literature that you hand out to prospective customers. It's also a good idea to put a smaller label, with just your basic contact info, on the back of product sample packets.
Have a “Grand Opening” for your business and make sure EVERYONE knows you represent Forever Living Products. Don't worry about recruiting at this stage; just get the word out and put catalogs and samples into people's hands.
Find other local FLP distributors and see if there are any local events taking place you can be a part of. You don't have to be in the same downline team to participate. Just get plugged in!
As you can see, the key at the early stage is to educate yourself, become organized and efficient, and let everyone know that you're doing something new. Focus on retail sales for now and you'll soon see your first rank advancement and bonus check! We'll turn our attention to finding “business builders” for our team a bit later on.
And remember: you'll get out what you put in! Keep your focus on long-term goals. Commit adequate time daily to build your business. Make sure 80% of your business building time is spent on IPA's : Income Producing Activities: talking to people, giving presentations, advertising, health fairs, handing out catalogs & samples. The other 20% should be spent on training yourself and miscellaneous home office tasks.
